Authorization

Travis County Municipal Utility District No. 10 (the “District”) was created as Point Venture II Municipal Utility District by order of the Texas Water Commission (now the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality) on May 17, 1989. The District name was changed to Travis County Municipal Utility District No. 10 in 1998.

The District is empowered to purchase, operate and maintain all facilities, plants and improvements necessary to provide water, sanitary sewer service and storm sewer drainage to the residents of the District.

Location

The District contains approximately 600 acres and is located in Travis County, Texas on Lake Travis, approximately 26 miles northwest of the central business district of Austin and approximately 5 miles south of Lohmans Ford Road and FM 1431 intersection and 5 miles south of Lago Vista. The District lies within the Lago Vista Independent School District.

Facilities

The District operates and maintains numerous water and wastewater facilities including a water plant, wastewater plant, wastewater lift stations, and infrastructure.
